Annette Lin is a poet and pianist from Los Angeles. Her work has been recognized by Aesthetica Magazine, the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, and the National Council of Teachers of English. She was the Editor in Chief of The Alias Magazine from 2023-2025, where she edited the magazine's first award-winning issue, "Shades of Meaning."Annette is a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California's Young Artist's Guild, which employs student musicians in performance opportunities in the state of California. Following her performance at the XVIII Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, she was a recipient of the Réka Darida Educational Scholarship, which supported her appearance at the 2025 American Liszt Society Festival.Annette keeps herself from doomscrolling by weaponizing her student status for discounts at her local symphony orchestra, scrapbooking, and collecting secondhand dictionaries.
